It's not news. I know he knows that you can't inject disinfectant. End of story. Let it go.
But, and you have to admit this is classic Trump, he didn't let it go because he always has to have the last word. He doubled down on dumb with "I was testing them," which is fucking stupid and bullshit. A man with less ego would have said, "Hey, dumbfuck, I know you can't inject or ingest disinfectant ... I was just trying say maybe there would be some medical way to get something you can inject or ingest that works the same way into our bodies. I fucked it up. Good for you for noticing."
That is a response I can understand and respect. "I was really testing them with sarcasm" is a perfect expression of the side of Trump the average person finds off-putting.
Even the fan boys should see it that way. -
