I'm pretty sure ll these albums were released in 1979 - the year of the greatest rock album ever created, Highway to Hell.

    Highway to Hell - AC/DC
    London Calling - The Clash
    The Wall - Pink Floyd
Van Halen II - Van Halen
    Damn the Torpedoes - TP
The Who - The Kids Are Alright
    Scorpions - Lovedrive
    Foreigner - Head Games
    ZZ Top - Deguello
    The Cars - Candy O
Led Zeppelin - In Through The Out Door
Neil Young and Crazy Horse - Rust Never Sleeps
    Supertramp - Breakfast in America
Bob Dylan - Slow Train Coming
    Cheap Trick - Dream Police
    Ramones - It's Alive
    Prince - Prince

That's a pretty good batch of albums to choose from.

Disagree. But you listed Pink Floyd, The Wall, so we’re good.

Tough choices...66 has too many of my top cuts to deny
In doing research (because I’m bored), I found a list with the top 4 being

Rolling Stones - Aftermath (British edition for me, Out of Time was a revelation with marimba)
    Beach Boys - Pet Sounds
    Beatles - Revolver
    Dylan - Blonde on Blonde

    Plus albums by...
    Willie Nelson
    Ray Charles
    The Kinks
    Cream
    The Sonics

The guy gets it. 1966 is really the year album oriented rock came into existence. Pet Sounds and Revolver are right behind Pepper in Rolling Stones top 3 albums of all time.

We listened to all three on a dirty rainy night in Yella’s gimp basement.
The chord changes on Giant Steps are as difficult as anal sex.

    This story checks out.
