Media loves war. They’ve covered this thing like it’s a war and our politicians have been happy to oblige with scary sound bites. It plays with those people short on common sense and long on feelings.

I can tell you with absolute certainty politicians and state/local bureaucrats are playing this thing solely based on optics and the feels.
