speaking of Cook It... where did old, ex-college football player Brian Cook land after he left RealDawg...is he with ESPN now, or The Athletic? Did he become the offensive consultant at UNLV? I'm curious to know.

One thing I've always wondered. Did he ever really sign off on predictions with "cook it!"? Or was that Half Brain folklore?Meek said:speaking of Cook It... where did old, ex-college football player Brian Cook land after he left RealDawg...is he with ESPN now, or The Athletic? the folklore was that he even existed. It was Ruth's attempt to show that she had a former player insider working for her so she manufactured someone who didn't exist (as far as I can tell). It's one of those moments that completely eroded any credibility she could have had for me. -
My memory on this might be hazy, but I seem to recall waiting with other reporters in a team room waiting for Willingham to show up. And I got in a conversation with a guy who was from Realdawg. I could swear he said his name was Brian or Brian Cook.Meek said:

I have never followed Ruth other than hazy memories of Kim whining about her and what I have read here. I know she’s bat-shit crazy. What’s the story on Brian Cook? She really made him up in an attempt to boost credibility?Meek said:

Cook was 100% bullshit. Ruth alias, wiff a bullett.
Cook it! -
OTOH, Ruth using a made up African American pseudonym so she could talk black on message boards was Peak Roof.
Hi @BallzDeep! -
I’m more right every day. Looks like USC and UCLA’s SIO.
I expect UWs to me called off by mid June.

IIRC, Cookie was missing a hand.
Or has the booze finally won?

There will be a season this fall. Unless there isn't. I'm 81% sure about that. -
If it saves one life, the season should be cancelled.

When the Cornell family sent little Jimmy to college they had no idea he'd be returning in a body bag.
All because he wanted to attend a football game.
