Seasons five and six were just ok. Some people raved about the battle of the bastards. I thought it was really shitty and a sign of the rushed, out of the blue conflict resolutions that were to come. Actually, on that note, the earlier one where Stannis rides in to defeat the wildlings at the wall was similar. How did his army, which was so impotent against Ramsey Bolton, so casually sweep through the wildlings which were tens of thousands strong and on their home turf?1to392831weretaken said:I would watch flounder fucking over the last two seasons of GoT. By the time he made it to Winterfell (in the show) his army was an under supplied rabble facing an enemy that was ready and waiting for them.
This doesn’t even address the relative favor/power of the red god at those 2 points in the story. -
