The swarthy Cuban/Spaniard (Ts&Ps for your ancestry.com connections getting off'd like @swaye's orkin extermination targets) is capable of forming cogent and intellectual arguments. He is the anti-dazzler.creepycoug said:

Apologize @Sledog. and you be nice to the donut eaters too, @creepycoug. Maple bars are goddamned delicious and, yes, I include those in the donut family.

Out of curiosity FMB, why do you think people are coming down with allergies to foods they were never alergic to for 40 years? In my case it was almonds. I ate them all the time. I also noticed the skin of apples gives me a slight, similar reaction. My unscientific theory is when we were younger we mostly ate foods which were grown locally. Now we eat foods from all over the planet and our immune systems haven't built up tolerances from the foods in those regions.Fire_Marshall_Bill said:A lot of kids have asthma. I'd say 15%. It's more than people think. People are allergic to foods that they never were 25 years ago. Who cares though. A lot of kids vape. There are a lot of fat people with weaker immune systems and health problems in their 20s and 30s. That was ignored for five years because fat shaming is bad now because the pretty blonde at the gym made fun of the fat girl and boo hoo. Guess what, there are consequences to it.

This is why the Throbber survives on a steady diet of canned corned beef hash, Bushmills and Red Vines.DuckHHunterisafag said:

You got to make the auto-immune system work daily by skipping anything with nutritional value - though I would argue the mental health aspect of Red Vines and Bushmills is worth it.

My S African/Irish buddy calls Bushmills "protestant piss." But I really like Black Bush, when he's not around.PurpleThrobber said:

When he is, I avoid the dilemma with Tullemore Dew, preferably aged in Rum Barrels. Yummy stuff, made better with Red Vines. -
Anyone know if Total Wine is Essential? I'm out of Bourbon AND Irish.

I’ve got both Bushmills Black and Red in my cabinet right now. Along with some Jameson so I can couch my bets on both Catholic and Protestant heaven entry exams.TurdBomber said:

If you're eating Almonds now you're almost certainly eating almonds that were grown in the same general area of California that they were grown when you were a kid. California has been growing pretty much all of the US consumption of Almonds since before the 1920s. They currently grow 80% of all the world's almonds.DuckHHunterisafag said:

I used the same under arm deodorant for over 30 years. Never had any issues with it. Then all the sudden I started having an allergic reaction to it. I now can't use any under arm deodorant without breaking out. This ended up being a blessing of some sort because they only thing I could find that would work was hand sanitizer.
When this CV hit I had a big bottle of hand sanitizer already in my bathroom and 2 more down in my pantry. Also had travel bottles in my gym bag and travel bag.
Making an incredibly boring story even more boring, why people are now acquiring allergic responses to things they never were allergic to in the past is a mystery.
The question I want answered is why they fuck are kids feet so much bigger now than they were when I was a kid? Hormones in the food supply?

Try Toms. I didn't have a reaction, but I finally decided that putting something on my skin everyday that prevented my sweat glands from working was probably not a good idea. I don't buy shit from the natural herb and remedies stores, and generally I'm skeptical of that shit. But Toms works.SFGbob said:
