They aren't treating it like a hoax. They are preparing for the worst but are also informed of numbers the general public doesn't have access to. The leftist whining mayor/governor act is getting old. They need to just do the work and continue to prepare, tap into their local resources where applicable and stop working their constituents into a frenzy with inflammatory language and accusations of the Federal government. Most all of this is handled at the county level via FEMA and Health Districts. The flapjaw mayors and governors are just that. Flap jaw politicians.

I didn’t see mention of Trump anywhere in Thomas’s post. He was referring to republican states as a whole, many of which weren’t hit as hard as they don’t have large cities where large amounts of transit happens.

Here in Oregon they have never been short of PPE's ,but in their divine wisdom, they broke protocol to try to save them for later and 13 caregivers are infected at OHSU. Of course the hospital says that they must have been infected elsewhere.

The cries of wolf all over our country lead me to believe that many if not most deserve this 0-12.
