If you could go back in time to experience a Husky game again, which one would it be?

USC (80, 81? Can't remember) Windstorm, Fred Small's fumble recovery in the end zone. Great time.
90 SC. All I saw was Purple.
89 Freedom Bowl. Great road trip. Beginning of something special.
01 Rose Bowl. Who knew that would be the last good time for a generation.
91 Nebraska classy. Was great on TV, would have been incredible in person getting a standing ovation (and talking shit the whole tim) -
The whole 91 season. I’ve watched some games as my dad used to have a couple of them on VHS. I was too young to experience that season live and wonder how much fun it would be to have such a dominant team. The mild disappointment of experience the 1990 season before 91 would be great too. I would love to be that excited about an upcoming season and have it all come to fruition.
The 2000 Miami game is a great choice too. When you factor in what they did after that game, it makes it even more special. -
The Kralik catch in the 92 Nebraska game pisses me off, even as a Husky fan.Baseman said:That 92 Nebraska game was lit, as was I. The 1982 UCLA contest -- very underrated--was louder than hell.
-
The 1961 Rose Bowl that I was left home with grandma for
-
1995?6? Holiday bowl where my grandpa threw his shoe at the TV and stomped around yelling at how bad the coaches were for getting to that point with Corey Dillon. Was one of the main reasons I was so excited when we got Rick.

Driving around socal that week I was wearing the Groucho Marx glasses, nose and mustache when I sense a car staying right next to me on I-405, sure enough he is wearing the same. We smiled at each other and off he went.
We did clobber Florida in the game if I remember correctly -
I'd go back to the 2014 Hawaii game. Watching John Ross get overthrown by 20 yards is an underrated moment that I did not appreciate at the time.

2010 Holiday Bowl. AKA the @RaceBannon trap game #Bark4Sark
-
I enjoyed the one where you missed 3 fgs and lost
-
Man that game sucked. I heard second hand from Tosh that UW would be lucky to win 4 games with Lindquist as QB. I still expected us to blow Hawaii out. We barely squeaked out a win that was sealed by the refs missing Coleman going out of bounds on a 3rd down run.Bread said:I'd go back to the 2014 Hawaii game. If Hawaii’s QB wasn’t terrible we would have lost. He had guys open all game. Budda in particular was terrible. Luckily the QB had major accuracy issues. That was also when we were dropping Kikaha in coverage often, which was incredibly FS. Pete was experimenting and trying to do it his way instead of just fucking winning. It still bothers me a little bit.
I expected a 10 win season in Pete’s first year. That whole season was a huge disappointment.

Love hearing this. This is the shit I dreamed of as a kid but never experienced. I got 0-12 as a student and was escorted out of Schmitz Hall with fellow SAE bros for not wanting Willingham to coach out the rest of the aborted season. Sometimes I wonder why I still give a shit haha.MikeDamone said:90 USC. greatest time of my life.

Same. Had Emmert as a guest speaker in a class talk about Ty as a real leader and guaranteed he would turn it around.Gladstone said:

To elaborate, @MikeDamone is an ornery asshole edgelord, but even now he can still unironically and without a touch of cynicism call that USC '90 game the greatest time of his life. That means everything. Like @RoadDawg55 said, I watched VHS tapes of those years but never experienced anything remotely close to that. To give you a frame of reference, I wept after the opening drive LSU '09 and couldn't stop cumming during/after Stanford '16. Those are the highs. Compared to the earlier years, maybe 1/100th as epic.dnc said:

2016 was fun. I have no shame in admitting that despite getting beat rather easily by Alabama. The Stanford game, Oregon, Apple Cup, and Colorado were all some of my best moments as a Husky Fan.Gladstone said:

It felt so good to not even talk shit to my Cuog buddies and just tell them they had no chance against us. Coog fans thought it would be a close game and it was for the PAC 12 North.
I knew we were bringing out the plunger and it actually happened. Pete getting pumped when we stuffed them at the goal line in the 3rd quarter was the most excited Pete ever was during his time at UW. -
That Apple Cup in a lot of ways was a bigger, more desolating ass fucking than the Oregon game. Oregon sucked that year and everyone already knew that going into that game.RoadDawg55 said:

28-7 or 35-7 in the first quarter with Pettis and Ross just clowning their db's. They were bragging about Falk and their offense and when they get to our endzone at the end of the half Beavers with the timely pick.
Coleman was skull dragging them all game long.
Close up of Gesser in the booth in the 4th quarter topped it off. -
1990 USC... As fans left Husky Stadium, people were breaking into massive cheers. It was one big celebration. Only time I've ever seen anything like that at Husky Stadium.Gladstone said:

It’s very rare to play the last game of the season for the conference. It was even better that it was in Pullman and they got destroyed. Ross caught a fade for a TD and 4 seconds after the ref put up the touchdown sign, the Coog DB was trying to strip the ball. It was as little brother as it gets.haie said:

I get why people say Pete didn’t win big games, but that Apple Cup, both conference title games, and to a lesser extent, a couple of others would have all been considered big games if Pete lost them. -
