The visual and sound design quality reminds me of Dunkirk. Absolute top quality.
Very different story however. The personal nature and the camera style makes you feel like you’re inside the action. -

Prime has a bunch of good documentaries on WWI and the ensuing clusterfuck created by the egregious terms of Versailles.

1917 certainly looked cool, but I honestly was pretty bored with that movie.
