The Bloomberg calculation

Mini Mike sat back and blew half a billion on TV ads while the so called and alleged moderates blew themselves out of the race. Even Pravda can't make Old Joe not look like a senile old fool.
After a round of beat up on the billionaire everyone woke up Sunday and said -wait, we're running a socialist? Bloomberg has veered strong to the left but compared to Bernie he's a moderate the media can sell
We will find out on Super Tuesday if Mike knew what he was doing.
He has no core base or beliefs but he isn't Trump, allegedly, so there is that.
If I were Trump I'd rather face Mini Mike than months of Denmark is cool and Castro was a good guy sometimes bullshit to prop up Bernie and his base which is rabid as fuck. And will turn out
There is no reason to turn out to vote for Mini Mike

If you're the type of Rat that would vote for Bloomberg, do you really think they're going to be excited to vote for Bernie? Bernie's supporters are rabid but this doesn't include the Rats who are supporting Klobuchar, Biden or Bloomberg.
Sure many of their supporters will fall in line and support the party nominee but I think there is a large never Bernie wing in the Rat party. I just don't see how many of the liberals I know who all have good jobs and have made tons of money, working in finance and banking and in the legal world are going to hold their noses and vote for Bernie. They may not vote for Trump but I can't see them cutting their own career throats and voting for Bernie. -
I can't see any reason to be excited for Bloomberg. He offers a shittier version of the status quo
Bernie is about change if you're angry and want some -
I’m not excited about Bloomberg but there were/are Rats who we’re looking at him, Biden and Pete as a Rat they could support who wasn’t Bernie.
I just don’t see liberals I know who are making good money voting to end all of that by supporting Bernie -
So Bloomberg may not be dead. He's the last chance to beat Bernie.

Are you saying......RaceBannon said:So Bloomberg may not be dead. He's the last chance to beat Bernie.

Think of all the homeless vets Bloomberg could have helped with that money.

Honestly, that could be a winning move. Michigan is an important state, and it would certainly put his money where his mouth is so to speak.
“Hey, remember that shitty water that we’ve known about for years and still haven’t fixed? I fixed it.”
More interesting than billboards at least. And if he loses (which is very likely) at least he did a good thing.
I’d at least be curious to see how that played out. -

Trump's only threats are a sinking economy (if the Coronavirus causes more damage to markets, for example) and Trump himself doing something that repulses the entire nation beyond repair. That notwithstanding, this country is still too center-right at its core to elect a flaming socialist. Maybe in 20 years, but not now.Swaye said:

We are not in disagreement there. I just think the global economy tanking or something is a real, but small, possibility, and that could have disastrous consequences for this election. I do agree that the vast majority of this country is not ready for a crazy old coot socialist who yells all the time and can't pay for anything he is proposing and doesn't even get along with his own party.DerekJohnson said:

Bernie will come nowhere close to winning the electoral college. As he’s done well so far in the caucuses, the dims are starting to shit all over themselves and are starting to come apart. J. Carville is shitting bricks and giving dims warnings, Chrissy tingle Mathews is not feeling it up his leg and being vocal about it to where Bern followes are wanting his head, the talking heads on MSM like Cooper and Cuomo are burning Bern in interviews....they all know the stakes of a Bernie nomination and the real cost.
Not only is he unelectable in the US per the EC, but Trump will eat him into another MI.
The Dims are in real trouble as of now with their candidates, they are feeling the REAL Bern and they are starting to panic. Borrowing some unseen circumstance, Trump is in the fast lane. Trumps only competitor right now is Trump himself.

Bernie is starting to lie about being a socialist and the media will cover for him if he gets the nomination
He's a DEMOCRATIC socialist. That's not bad
He just wants to give you free healthcare
He's like our NATO allies.
Of course when he disbands the military NATO collapses and so do the socialist paradises
Trump was a threat to humanity for asking them to pay their dues but still
The left gets on board. Nobody circles the wagons like the Democrats
I'd rather prepare for a close race than not -

Preparation part is in my mind is if Bern wins the nod, don’t take it lightly on Trump will win in a landslide in the masses and not vote thinking everyone else for Trump will.
Re Bloomberg and this thread, Bloom is a direct hit against Biden and many of the Dims along with the MSM heads and they know it is sucking up Biden’s O2 which in turn may push Bernie to the nominee....and many are panicked by this as seen in the MSM.
Bernie has no chance IMO and Bloomberg his helping his crusade. -
Bernie also opposed expanding NATO to former Eastern Bloc countries for fear that it would antagonize Russia but Trump is the Putin puppet.RaceBannon said:Bernie is starting to lie about being a socialist and the media will cover for him if he gets the nomination

According to Tucker Carlson the only person on the President's campaign team that thinks Bernie can win is Trump. Glad he is taking nothing for granted
Oh and our DNC news reporters
https://foxnews.com/media/abc-news-suspends-david-wright-for-remarks-made-in-project-veritas-video-report
The modern day Mike Wallace strikes again:
The veteran reporter expounded at length on his political views. "I would consider myself a socialist, like I think there should be national health insurance," he said. "I’m totally fine with reining in corporations, I think they’re too many billionaires, and I think there’s a wealth gap – that’s a problem.”
Wright, 56, also called President Trump "a d---" in the secret recording, while simultaneously complaining that Trump is sometimes not given "credit for what things he does do."
An ABC insider told Fox News that Wright had been hoodwinked into making his statements on camera.
“Wright and the producer didn’t know who they were talking to. Didn’t know they were being recorded," the insider said. "The person introduced himself as a documentary filmmaker and didn’t say he was recording.”
That's how you speak the truth to power. -
