Pale Ale
When I first met Mrs Piss's old man down in OR, I brought a bottle of Black Bush as tribute. I was pour and unemployed at the time so no Green Bush.PurpleThrobber said:
The Throbber's daughter's (no pics, fuck off) boyfriend came to the compound for his initial visit. Of course Mrs. Throbber v2.0 asks what he drinks and is told to buy Bud Lite.YellowSnow said:
I tend to think of Kokanee more as macro vs craft. I used to drink the shit out of it college.PurpleThrobber said:

Fuck that. I made him drink Kokanee. -
IPAAmericans are consistently good at IPAs and pale ales.

Fuck off Row Peter Puffer - may favorite is...
That would have been the proper approach. Either some Bushmills or hookers and blow. The Throbber could abide either way.YellowSnow said:

Did you know that a beer can be both a macro and a craft at the same time?YellowSnow said:

I think Sam Adams fits this description and possibly beers by New Belgium as well.
Macro and micro refer to how much beer is produced while craft refers to ingredients or some bullshit like that.

FWIW. I’d put Sierra Nevada over Sam Adams in that example. -
Pale Ale
Yes. I go off the ingredients. If it has adjunct grains - i.e., corn or rice - it’s not craft. But some of the best selling craft beers like Sam Adams or Sierra Nevada are hardly “micro”.CFetters_Nacho_Lover said:
