Ceyair Wright, 2021 4* DB, Los Angeles (Loyola), CA

Wright jumped from No. 178 to No. 67 nationally and is now rated the No. 7 corner by 247Sports. He was the top defensive back for us at the recent Pylon 7v7 tourney in Miami, Florida and we really like his combination of length and pure speed.

He finished the year with 52 tackles and three interceptions and has a really nice all around skill set. He has long arms, good ball awareness and is built for press coverage. He does a nice job playing the ball in the air and closes really well on the football.

He needs to continue to fill out and add some strength and increase his physicality in run support but he has all the tools to be a upper tier Power 5 starter and future high round NFL Draft pick.

On the recruiting front, Wright has already visited Notre Dame, Oregon State, Northwestern and Washington this off-season and camped with UCLA and USC last summer. Oklahoma and Stanford have recently offered scholarships and it will be interesting to see who makes the cut for him and where he'll take his official visits later in the year.

UW is on the short list for Wright right now and will be all the way through his recruitment. It's a good fit for him and he really enjoyed his earlier visit.
