Its still a shared experience just shared by a lot less folks
In the three network heyday you got canceled for less than 30 million viewers and there were a lot less viewers. -

I actually watched it for the first time in five years and thought it was one of the better ones I’ve seen. I’m glad @RoadDawg55 and his crew won for best picture.
But yeah, award shows are dying. Too many of them, too long, and too political. -
Ricky ruined them. I’m not sure there’s ever been a funnier and moar effective mic drop in history.
