This is actually true. The right has does it with tax cuts, the farmers bailout, lets not forget W’s $1 trillion dollar stimulus. The Left does it with entitlement spending, and now upped their hand with free healthcare, free college, and UBI. But yes everybody does it to some extent. My post about sack lunches was pointed towards the campaign trail not making a statement about promises during the campaign.
Anyone who has the perspective that letting people keep more of their hard earned money is a give away or some sort of vote buying, has been horribly indoctrinated by the left. It is painful to even see my fellow Americans think that way. It is the exact opposite of what the founders believed and represents so much of what socialists, fascists and communists believe.
