Chinteresting because
1- hes a hell of a recruiter. Has probably been the best recruiter on Oregon's staff
2- he's not a great coach. His biggest "success story" for one of his commits has been...I dont know... Demodor Lenoir who was a very high ranked 4-star recruit and will probably be a mid-round pick. Fits in well with USC recent history of turning 5 star recruits into 3 star players.
3- I think I read he was the lead recruiter for Justin Flowe, who almost signed with USC. Could some Kaho-ing be afoot?

I’m in favor of this. Flowe heading to SC sounds good to me.

Normally I'd say USC is a great spot for taking a good recruiter from another conference team. Now, I'm not so sure.

Would be a huge get for USC and a big blow for Oregon if this happens.

It’d be a great get for USC but a questionable move on his part just because we all assume Helton is getting canned at some point this year. Why go somewhere the coach is going to get canned and not know if you’ll be retained.

Where's this noise coming from?
"Legit source" or a bunch of internet recruiting nerds hugging it out on internet forums? -
All things being equal, why would someone leave the job security of Oregon for the dead man walking situation of USC?
-
Scott Schrader. He’s been wrong a lot more recently about coaching stuff than he’s been right, however this looks to a lot more realistic than say Urban. He does seems fairly well connected to the players though, he’s been the first to mention things like Steele leaving UF-> Oregon ->USC.

the obvious answer is Williams relishes being named the interim head coach at USC by Oct. 24 and then he's likely receiving one/both of a guaranteed 3-4 year contract plus AD Bohn will ensure that the next head coach retains him "for program stability reasons".DerekJohnson said:All things being equal, why would someone leave the job security of Oregon for the dead man walking situation of USC?

I get it. He’s being paid significantly less than Heyward. And in addition to being the PAC-12’s number 1 recruiter, he has Graham, Lenoir, Wright and Holland on PFF’s top 30 returning defensive backs in the nation list.DerekJohnson said:All things being equal, why would someone leave the job security of Oregon for the dead man walking situation of USC?
Either Fill Night writes a big check. Or he goes to LA knowing in a worst case scenario a super recruiter won’t be on the unemployment line long.
