Seems like Cato wanted to get one of his guys even after missing on Yary. Hindsight obviously suggests we should’ve just went with Overman. TEs are one position guys can really come out of nowhere, so I’ll hope for the best.Neighbor2972 said:

I think Yary is in the bag. His most recent interview from the Poly bowl made it pretty obvious he’s bought into UW’s TE utilization and NFL development, something USC and ASU can’t sell. Those just look like courtesy visits at this point. -
I don't think this means we're out on Yary, this weekend is just when we're having 'all' the visitors so we had to offer him now. We can wait to take his commitment.

One thing of note, Biggins did say that Yary looked like crap in the Poly bowl practices. It will be interesting to see how this shakes out and to see what the dire need for a 3rd TE is related to
