We went all out for Yary and got beat by a team that doesn't use a TE. Last year we lost on Jude Wolfe to SC and didn't even try to pry Ethan Rae away from them.
I'm not ready to give up on #myderham yet, but this is a big fucking strike against him. -
He’ll either end up on the O line or be in the transfer portal in 2 years.

I don’t think there was anything else that could have been done. He obviously really really wanted to be a Trojan for a long time now and is just hoping it works out for him. If we had Peterson we probably close. Pete was one of the most under rated closers in the game, the struggle was getting the players on campus. So far Jimmy hasn't shown that ability but a lot has to do with last years incompetent offense and the uninspiring OC hire.Houhusky said:Paopao signs Yary

The only thing about a program's future that matters is the quality/quantity of its recruiting classes as they are leading indicators.
Not being able to get Costello into the program (hi UW upper campus) is a big hit IMO for this year ... hope one of the young QBs steps up. -
