It is apparently very difficult because UW does not have a rich history as a successful hoops program. There have been a few short term runs, but never anything truly sustainable. 11 tournament appearances in the 35 years since it expanded to 64 teams in 1985. 17 appearances overall since it began in 1939.haie said:
