Haie makes a point. Not only did he win a Rose Bowl, as in he was there ... but he won it. Without those QB runs I doubt Oregon wins.

So good on him. He also seems like so much less of a dick than Browing was, so whatever. I think the Oregon crowd is a little harder on him than warranted. He has some weaknesses, no doubt. But the one thing I've always given him was that he wasn't working with a top tier skill position group his entire time at Oregon. Yeah he had a good line, but his receivers were mediocre. Johnson was OK this year; Mitchell was solid last year. Not world beaters, but solid. But by in large it's been one guy. When Breeland went down I thought the season was over. He certainly didn't have ASU's receiving corp. Or USC's.

Huhbert didn't run it much until the conference championship game and the 🌹.
