    Jen Cohen makes the best hires. Gets truly motivated coaches that want to win at all costs, and would never coast after a season of mostly seniors winning a weak conference.

    Washington has won the conference 3 times in the last 11 years in basketball.

    Arizona hasn't won the Pac 12 since 1993 in football.

    It is apparently very difficult because UW does not have a rich history as a successful hoops program. There have been a few short term runs, but never anything truly sustainable. 11 tournament appearances in the 35 years since it expanded to 64 teams in 1985. 17 appearances overall since it began in 1939.
