Probably. Their QB had a career year and basically couldn't miss. Odds of getting another one right away are low.

LSU has recruiting classes ranked 3, 5, 15 and 7 the last 4 years and just won their 2nd natty since 2007 or whatever. IF they don't have Cajun Coker at the helm, they'll be a top 5 team again with a chance if Lawrence, Fields, or Bryce Young break a leg.

LSU has been recruiting at an elite level for a long time. Unless other seasons, their defense was quite as suffocating has it's been when they've made other runs. Their O was the story this year, in particular their passing game. I'm not saying they won't good, but there have been many, many very talented LSU teams that have lost 4 or more games. -
Probably will fall back into a 10-3 or 11-2 type program eventually. It’s a top 5-10 program. They were around that before this year, everyone just knew they wouldn’t win a natty most years.
It all depends how good they are at replicating what Brady did for them and replacing Burrow. No reason they can’t have a top 10 defense. If they do, they don’t need to have the very best offense like they did this year. -

Don’t think they will be near as good this upcoming year. Think Bama will hey em and represent the west. Won’t be enough to fire Orgeron but he lost a lot.
Doubt he replicates. Think he had his hay day. But love to see him stay, he fits the bill there. -
