He’s chortling to himself right now in his mom’s greasy basement. He reveling in Hop’s misery. Hop’s offense is worse than the rat ball that Romar threw out there, which is quite the feat.
Romar never had a player go academically ineligible and he had some real fucking morons on his teams that never played school. Venoy was out pimpin’ hos running the streets and he never went academically ineligible. Lmao!

He defended Romar in 2016 and 2017. Therefore, his opinion is useless.

It was useless before that but true.Fire_Marshall_Bill said:He defended Romar in 2016 and 2017. Therefore, his opinion is useless.

Cohen blundered?

Why exactly didn't we throw a bunch of money at Mark Few's assistant coach who pays all those European kids to play for them?

The Yogi Beera cuck on that thread is equally as good as Basnight’s input

Hop did well until this year. I don’t know if the right choice is to fire him after next year or let him try and build a program the right way. I think he still has some positive attributes and could be a good coach.PurpleThrobber said:
The recruiting and roster management has been horrible tho. So probably fire him for that. -
Turn Hec Ed in to a parking lot for football.

I think after that choke they have plenty of ammo.Doogles said:What do the Hop haters have to say now!!

Fire Hop. I was right. I’d rather have Romar. Seriously.

Hop needed to change the sub rotation a bit yesterday ... but hindsight is undefeated
This team has had some horrible luck and hasn’t helped themselves at the same time -
Fire him. Until they change the rules, one and done rosters will be the reality in big time CBB and you have to win that way. If you cant win this year youll never win imo.RoadDawg55 said:

Hop has mismanaged the rotation to such an extent and let quade go academically ineligible that it’s worse than Penerman’s WR and LB rotations this year. He’s absolutely fucked us in all our losses. Talk about learning on the job.

Take the "bad luck" bullshit excuse to dawgman.Tequilla said:Hop needed to change the sub rotation a bit yesterday ... but hindsight is undefeated

"The baskets just haven't been falling."
"The other guys hit lucky shots."
"This is a young team."
"The calls aren't going their way"
You dont blow 4 12+ point leads in the last few minutes because of "bad luck". You dont have lottery pick players not giving a shit because of "bad luck". You dont completely blow off a recruiting class when a good chunk of your team is leaving because of "bad luck".
We are currently on a trajectory to a complete restart again in a couple years -
How about we hire somebody that can get 5 players to put the ball in the basket with some regularity?

One and done teams don’t often win. The ones that have had good upperclassmen too. The UNC and Villanova teams weren’t with one and dones. DaVinceo was like the only guy off those teams that left before his junior year. Virginia wasn’t either.WilburHooksHands said:

I’m not against recruiting one and dones, but they do nothing, and even hurt long term progress if you don’t have other good players to compliment them. Having three years of solid production is better than one year of great production. A guy like McDaniel’s does nothing. Same with Hawes and Wroten. Stewart is an exception, not the norm. -
Anybody ready to accept the reality that UW is not a basketball school and has zero chance of ever being one? I mean, we're not even talking about a real sport here.

The big problem is that we should not be a 1 and done team. Yes, we have 2 guys that are but we also have Hameir and Naz who are juniors and have generally sucked, 5th year senior Timmins who has made no progress, Bey and Hardy were highly touted and have been worthless. BPJ might as well be a walk on. There is plenty of "experience" there so that Stewart shouldntbhave to be taking the other teams on all by himself but he is because theres been no development.RoadDawg55 said:
