    The Pac 8 was tuff. USC in all their glory. UCLA giving a shit. Stanford with Plunkett and Bunce and back to back Rose Bowl wins

    Those Six teams were good but couldn't beat the top teams on the schedule. Same as it ever was. 6-4, 8-3, and 7-5 and no bowl if you didn't get Rose Bowl
