These numbers, if they're accurate, were a lot closer than I expected as between Washington and Oregon.
UW: 32 players/13 with some indication of being on the first team, including special teams. This includes Danny Shelton, who has finally made his way into a starting position with the Pats at nose tackle.
UO: 27 players/11 with the same indication, and this includes Mariota's recent demotion. My guess is he winds up elsewhere with another shot at starting at some point.
Oregon does have 4 practice squad guys to Washington's 1, which is the equivalent of not really being there.
Both programs have some players who are hanging around but are disappointments relative to their draft status.

Why would it be surprising that helfrichs recruits (aside from Herbert who came back because he’s a nerd) aren’t good enough to go pro early?YellowSnow said:
I’m just bummed by the high volume of early to NFL attrition. I know it means most of those guys were really good.
Miamuh still hanging on at 48 players, with 22 first stringers and one PS player. Admittedly, they also list Kendrick Norton as a 2nd stringer as a rookie; but he recently got his arm cut-off in a car accident, so I don't think he'll be playing again any tim soon.
