Could go after Bama kids that are getting processed

Oregon is taking a kid Bama is trying like hell to get off their commit list. We could do that but I think Lake cares more about taking kids that will actually contribute vs kids that will get him a high TBS ranking

The kid hasn’t signed it’s easy to get him off the list. The top schools do it all the time. They just say no.
He’s pretty raw but given the lack of talent out west in the DT class this year and his size it’s worth a shot. Worst case scenario he ends up a space eater that helps against the run.

He tore his ACL last year and had a subpar senior season. People don’t think he has the explosion to play DL anymore.

Guys like this are often the shittiest players. Getting players that get dropped elsewhere is never good.

He played 40 pounds overweight. He gets into a good S&C program and there is a lot to work with. Baylor wants him as well. Oregon is still a bit on the fence.
