It’s not ideal. It’s hard to recruit when you sign as many as we did the year before. It really shouldn’t be, but kids don’t want to think about redshirting and starting by their junior year or even later. They all want to be starters by year two at the latest.
I still hope we find a DL to sign. There are still good, available players out there. Find them, evaluate them, flip someone if needed. Easier said then done, but I guarantee there a couple stud DL‘s committed to smaller schools that will end up studs. Just gotta find them. It’s much harder than simply recruiting only players that everyone else wants.
I’m really bummed about Carlton. He’s going to be a good one. I had gotten my hopes up for a few days before seeing it was tilted more towards Utah along with the obvious connections he has there. -
