Other good programs do it all the time and are fine for doing it. That’s a coaching issue. Sirmon getting garbage time snaps is not going to prepare him any more for tough opponents. No good teams get their back up QB snaps against good teams.LawDawg1 said:We? The offense we (?) ran in the bowel gayme can be run by any QB. It was a bunch of swing passes to the RB and slants, with an occasional rip down the field. If they stick with that, and get rid of trying to impress the pro scouts with 17 motions and a 40 yard pass across the field for 4 yards, we'll (?) be fine. Wazzu plugs in a new QB every year and they do just fine. A good college coach will make an offense that isn't reliant on a great QB to run it. Now, it depends on if Lake hires that guy.
