2021 DL Class - Return of the Polys

JT Tuimoloau: PLEASE GOD
Voi Tunuufi : Same high school as Taki. EKtard compares him to Noa Ngalu but more athletic.
Kuao Peihopa: Big OL/DL from Hawaii, will play DL in college. Seen some comparisons to Taki.
Victory Vaka: No offer yet but Ektard and Sonics say we're evaluating. Has the size to be the run stuffing 1 tech in the middle a la Tuli.
Obviously we want Foreman too but that may be a pipe dream. I'd be fine with we land these 4 Poly players and call it good. With JTT as the cornerstone, this DL class will be even better than the '18 class. Someone send Jimmy a Tommy Bahama gift card.

Any 265lb poly high school running backs that have the frame to add 90-100 lbs and keep their athleticism?
-
JTT is probably the closest thing we'll get to another Vita in terms of size and athleticism. Pa'ama is a freak too.animate said:Any 265lb poly high school running backs that have the frame to add 90-100 lbs and keep their athleticism?

JTT couldn’t sound any more Poly than this. Sounds like he’d have 50-plus family members at all his games as a Dawg in Husky Stadium. PLEASE GOD.
Caple’s piece today on JTT proves as much.

That’s “one happy family,” to borrow Tuimoloau’s terminology. They all live together in one house in Edgewood, about 40 miles south of Eastside Catholic’s campus — mom, dad and J.T., plus his three younger siblings, his grandparents on his mother’s side, and his grandfather’s sister. The contingent at Eastside Catholic games is even larger. “It’s like home,” Fetui said. “I’ve actually seen people there that I went to church with back when I was younger that I haven’t seen in years.”
His family never misses a game, and they’ve been known to hand out leis made of candy. “That’s one thing I love about my family: They’re always in the moment,” Tuimoloau said, recalling his grandmother rallying the crowd at his youth-league games. “No matter how old they are or how sick they are, they always cheer their lungs out.” -
If we do not get this kid it is the biggest miss since I have been following this shit. Not only because he is a legit top 5 talent, but because of the family and poly connect. Just complete fail if we can't close this. Jimmy is on notice from the ETS.Beno4Life said:JTT couldn’t sound any more Poly than this. IMO he's the best prospect to ever come out of the state. The only one I think has an argument over him is Reggie Williams. But I'd still take JTT.Swaye said:

My buddy in peewee football had to move up a level due to his size. He was a 10 year old playing 12 and 13 year olds. That was in 1989, before youth sports fully pussified. I'm surprised that a kid that big and that athletic, in this day and age of fairness for all, was allowed to physically punish the little kids he was playing. I mean, the video was hilarious and I'm glad it exists but, holy shit, that kid would probably start on most Wesco football teams. Offer now.

I'd buy that.dnc said:

I was curious so I went to 247sports to have a look at their all-time rankings for the state of Washington, just to make sure I wasn't forgetting anyone. While JTT isn't ranked yet because it's not his recruiting year, they have Smalls at #1 and Williams at #2 all time, with ratings of .9990 and .9976 respectively. JTT is currently sitting at .9976 in their rankings, so they'll have him tied with Williams, assuming his rating doesn't change between now and when he signs.
-
Interestingly enough, the 2021 class in Washington will have 3 players who 247sports will rank in the Top 10 all-time for the state.
JTT @ #2t
Egbuka @ #9
Huard @ #10 -

Thevword on the TBS sites is that he's not very good. Another guy who was highly ranked early and already hit his peak. Many of his offers are not commitable. I like the guys we have better.insinceredawg said:
