While touching someone without consent is wrong and a violation of their liberty (much like stealing their property), we have lost all discernment as to different degrees of offense based on the actual harm caused. We are to the point where a quick pat of the ass is no different than Weinstein or Cosby raping women. I submit some offenses are newsworthy and others can be dealt with between the individuals involved.

We are to the point where all are lumped together and nothing short of destroying a persons livelihood though mob justice is acceptable. See Al Franken for reference.
