Also Wilson’s high school coach just quit his job so maybe see where he ends up and we’ll know where Wilson goes.

Apparently has deleted all Oregon related things on twitter. Looks like it is happening. Go Herm!!

Same with the Slusher kid that’s a safety.KrunkJuice said:Apparently has deleted all Oregon related things on twitter. Looks like it is happening. Go Herm!!

I mean, his HS coach straight up said a couple days ago he was going to be a great player for ASU, lol.

Looks like they’re after Shorter the transfer from PSU

I'm hearing they ran Wilson and Slusher off to make room for Flowe, Ringo, and Darnell WashingtonDoogCourics said:

Williams just dropped off to but he’s 17 and has 2 kids in Fla so going across country to school was never really a good idea.
-
There was no way that guy was gonna ho to Oregon. I dont know why Mario even let him stay committed. They might lose 3 4* top247 recruits before the weeks endTheironshiek said:Williams just dropped off to but he’s 17 and has 2 kids in Fla so going across country to school was never really a good idea.

I surprised it took the S from FL this long to decommit. He had been talking about it since before the season started
-
More than likely will. The Slusher one makes little sense, who goes to UCLA to play defense? Arroyo must be taking a coach or 2 with him that a lot of recruits were tight with
-
It sounds like Slusher isnt headed to UCLA either. He is hosting a bunch of coaches this week.Theironshiek said:More than likely will. The Slusher one makes little sense, who goes to UCLA to play defense? Arroyo must be taking a coach or 2 with him that a lot of recruits were tight with
Taking a bunch of east coast kids is risky. I think a couple years ago Oregon had like 3 kids who signed leave before their first fall camp.
They have a few other iffy commits too. Navarette has been looking around his entire recruitment. They have another CB commit and an OG commit from the east coast. Butterfield would leave at the drop of a hat if Stanford offered. -
Taking any 17 year old kid at their word is risky. Slusher seems like a kid who enjoys the attention of it all. One of the guys had a pretty good article on how all the top west coast guys are going East. I think the closer it gets to signing day the more the distance becomes a problem

what do you make of ASU? Class seems like it’s going to have a bunch of good WRs, lot of 3/4 star players who apparently want to play for failed NFL head coaches.

Nick Saban is a failed NFL coach.Theironshiek said:what do you make of ASU? Class seems like it’s going to have a bunch of good WRs, lot of 3/4 star players who apparently want to play for failed NFL head coaches.
"Failed NFL coach" just means former NFL coach.
It's certainly not a check mark against someone. -
Quietly sneaking together the 4th best class in the conference... maybe, just maybe 3rd.Theironshiek said:what do you make of ASU? Class seems like it’s going to have a bunch of good WRs, lot of 3/4 star players who apparently want to play for failed NFL head coaches.

Is Ringo really in play for the Yucks?

They just lost Avantae Williams, their second highest rated commit after Sewell. Dawgs back on top for #1 class in the conference.

Sweet so recruiting rankings matter again. Stick the the Tug, this place is out of your league.insinceredawg said:They just lost Avantae Williams, their second highest rated commit after Sewell. Dawgs back on top for #1 class in the conference.

They seem confident they'll land at least one of Ringo, Flowe, and Manning.GrundleStiltzkin said:insinceredawg said:They just lost Avantae Williams, their second highest rated commit after Sewell. Dawgs back on top for #1 class in the conference.

Huffman said on the recruiting podcast w/ Ekturd that it will be Manning. He said USC/Clemson for Flowe and Georgia for Ringo.insinceredawg said:

I'm leaning toward agreeing with Coker. Not knowing anything about anything it sure seems that Mario is the type that will want some signing day sizzle. I'm sure he has some fish on the hook for that big splash and subsequent interview on ESPN. Me thinks it will be equal to or greater than what they have lost in the last few days. It's kinda what big boy recruiting looks like. Just a guess on my part.
-
Is that a bad thing?Swaye said:

Oregon will likely finish very strong and will probably have a higher rated class than UW in the end, especially since UW has 2 of their slots filled up by specialists, which equates to an empty slot points wise. That being said, UW is currently ranked above Oregon despite having one less commit. This includes the specialists who count for almost nothing, so UW, in reality, has 3 less commits but a higher ranking. It will really get interesting now because after Avantae William's. Oregon will likely lose 4* Slusher, 4* Wilson, 3* Figgins, and 3*Latu from their commit list as well so they are going to be trying to play the flip game and go all in on the uncommitted big time guys. That could go either way. It sounds like they are going to try to replace Wilson with a 3* WR named Rice who they had already told earlier in the year to look elsewhere so we'll see how that goes.
The educk mods have convinced their people that Oregon is "doing very well" with Ringo, Flowe, and Manning and all these decommitments may be a blessing in disguise. These are, however, the same people saying 2 weeks ago that CJ Stroud was very likely coming to Oregon and that Darnell Washington and DJ Rodgers would have to fight over the TE spot (all 3 players cancelled their visits). Reminds me a lot of Eklund's posts during the Vanderdoes class. -
