Love that the Doog myth of "Nobody wanted to come here after 0-12" is still alive.

Fucking morons and for the record there was better coordinator options out there than Dude Brah, there was coaches at lower levels that at the time would have been better than Dude Brah.

The guy was 19-17 in conference play despite having a lot of NFL players. The Sark doogs are even worse than the Lambo Doogs(Yes I know they are the same people. Hi PLSS!).

It's alive, but it doesn't have legs.

Pat Hayden does impress me with this:

He fired Lane Kiffin. This is a move that most athletic directors would have made (though most probably would have waited a little longer, or at least not done it in a parking lot)

When he's talking about Sark succeeding hard and fast is he talking about the football program or his dealings with local waitresses?

are you guys all forgetting that Sark's the best play caller in the country? Are you also forgetting he took Jake from a #1 overall pick with a guaranteed contract of about $65M to a #8 overall pick with something closer to $5M guaranteed?

If I'm a coach recruiting a HS stud with great hips who believes he's a future first rounder, This is the #1 tactical nuke I save tucked away in my quiver to release at just the right time to poison the well for Sark.

Most fiduciaries who end up costing their clients a 90% loss based on fraudulent info for self serving purposes, end up in prison.

You actually believe that having a player picked #8 is going to be seen as a bad thing by high school recruits, because he should have been #1? Once they got into workouts, I doubt Jake was ever going #1. That's a doogman myth just like ASJ was a top 10 pick before this year. There is no coach in college football that has had as many QB's picked in the first round as Sark. There are tons of things to use to recruit against him (Joey's waitresses, drinking, 7-6, no discipline), but using where his QB's have been picked in the draft isn't it.

RoadDawg is right if you bring up QB's you are walking into Sark's wheelhouse. Now if you bring up his W-L you'll kill him.

However, the best recruiters are those who build up their program instead of trashing others. That was a turn off for some in regards to Sark he would never tell the recruit why they should come to Washington just why they shouldn't go to school X.

While Petersen I'm sure negative recruits some he is mainly giving the kid reasons to go to UW.

That is why Petersen despite the Doogman myth will be a better recruiter at UW than Sark was at UW.
