Minor poont of clarification: I do not think there's any recognition of "journalist" under federal statutory law. Some states have shield laws but I don't think there's any federal counterpart. He's a private citizen and that's enough.

Watched this yesterday. Pretty schlocky 1950's production but the cautionary tale is there. The re-defining of most words, elimination and damning of others, the state as all powerful and all knowing, party elites...
