Remaining targets & prediction
I'm assuming QB, RB, OL, LB, and ST are all full.
WR:
Gary Bryant - sounds like no chance
LV Bunkley-Shelton - still hanging around, but I presume he's a backup plan in case McMillian or Odunze didn't sign. I actually like his film, so I'd take him, but we don't need 4 WRs
TE:
Jack Yary - I'm doogishly optimistic here. Redman, Yary, and West would be a phenomenal class
DL:
Princely Umanmielen - he's visiting, but feels like a longshot
Van Fillinger - probably going to Utah
Xavier Carlton - see above, but he's visiting and Malloe is a closer
Lance Keneley - I think we're out of it, but he still hasn't committed
CB:
Jacobe Covington - he's going to recommit
Kelee Ringo - LOL
My wholly uneducated/doogish opinion for how we close:
Covington
Yary
Umanmielen

I've heard that Garbers is all about Hamdan, so that position could get interesting.

Really??? He sucks as an OC. We might be doing him a favor1to392831weretaken said:I've heard that Garbers is all about Hamdan, so that position could get interesting.

I hope not. I actually like Garbers a lot. He'll be a scrapper and more versatile than Eason, but with a stronger arm, more speed, and less ego than Browning.1to392831weretaken said:I've heard that Garbers is all about Hamdan, so that position could get interesting.
Not really worried though. He's surely about more than Hamdan. Most good programs already have their QB for the 2020 class. It's really unlikely he sees a more attractive opportunity. -
I think we land atleast 1 guy we aren't expecting.
Someone we thought we had lost like Gee, Ringo, or DJ Rogers? More likely some random dude we never considered cause pete didn't pursue. -
We never offered Rogers.Bread said:I think we land atleast 1 guy we aren't expecting.

They'll probably take LBS, even if McMillan and Odunze both sign. Lowe is already gone. Osborne, as of late last week, planned on leaving. Ty Jones, after he and the coaches had words about him redshirting, was a possibility, too. Radio silence on the offense, right now.Woof said:There are a lot of threads about individual recruits, but Jimmy has two weeks to lock down the class and close on a few remaining targets, so I want to go bigger picture on who is left on the board and how we close.

I see he visited Cal... If they're willing to take him, any chance Jimmy changes course on him?Baseman said:

Last I thought about him, I wasn't sure any of his offers were actually commitable, but they must be if they're OV-ing him. -
Heard Ty was staying as of yesterday. Lowe has been sniffing around recently, wonder if he comes back... Don’t think Osborne leaves.Baseman said:
