Also need to cut the state department and the department of education. That will save the country $110 Billion. Then we can cut out the UN $15 Billion (plus the cost of our military participation which would probably throw in another $10 billion), cut half the military bases around the world and bring our people back home which will save us $75 Billion a year. We spend $653 Billion on disability (the bulk of which is in the SE, Michigan and Maine). This number has doubled in the last 20 years. I'm not buying it. Cut half and we save another $325 Billion a year. Get our asses out of everyone else's wars and cut the military back and save $150 Billion. Cut foreign aid back $25 billion. Then continue with the ratification of the tariff/trade imbalance and generate another $500 billion on US soil.

We saved about a Trillion and increased our output $500 billion and we haven't even touched healthcare, the drug program and a bankrupted SS. If the rats would get the fuck out of the way we can also drastically cut the cost of drugs in this country which would save billions of tax payer dollars. Then we tackle the tax system and generate more revenue while eliminating the costly tax system that costs tax payers and corporations billions and billions of dollars just to navigate.

Of course all of this would have to be done with rats kicking and screaming because, and lets be honest here, rats don't like less spending or smaller government.

Trump and the gop had control of the entire legislative and fiscal process from Jan -2017 to Jan 2019. They did nothing but increase spending across the board.

Im all on board for cutting government bloat and spending, but slashing the military budget gives me pause.

We need to remain vastly ahead of China and Russia in that department

I actually agree with you for probably the first and only tim. The GOP are such a letdown from a spending perspective. Fiscal conservatism is dead. Everyone in DC is an idiot now.

The GOP in Congress when Trump took over were every bit a part of the problem as the democrats. Half of them ran against him in the primary

It's like people completely missed the Establishment that wanted to keep doing what they do going after the outsider who wanted to change shit. And still are

Of course Nancy has introduced many pieces of legislation to cut spending and has vowed to work with Trump to get it done. Or not

And the drooling idiot @CirrhosisDawg cheers from the outhouse that nothing is getting done! Nothing like fake ass budget hawks who support the party that wants to add 50 trillion to the debt.

You swallowed whole the bullshit of a trump agenda. It was always a lie. College dropouts, the unskilled, and the uneducated like you bought it without question.

Sure I did or I made an informed decision that the outsider was a better choice than the gal who sold America down the river.

But I didn't swallow Mueller, Schiff, and Nadler. *cough*

Yes there is no responsible politician watching the piggy bank. There hasn't been one of those in our lifetime unless you were around when Truman was President.

If tomorrow the GOP made their platform about balanced budget and debt reduction, the democrats would never, ever participate. They would fight it every single step of the way. Now that they have gone bonkers and sailed way to the left, you will never hear an honest rat talk about real spending controls and debt reduction.

It is up to the GOP to get this done but right now I don't see anyone willing to step up to the plate.

As for military spending, I know for fact it is wasteful just like every other government agency. There is fat there.

Yeah the economy is booming, he is placing judges at a great rate which will slow the liberal express towards globalism and control of all of our lives down, Black, Hispanic and female employment are at all time highs (the best in the history of our country), he stemmed the tide of illegal influx, he is starting to make strategic cuts, he has already solved the trade imbalance with MX and Canada which will mean more jobs here in the USA, he is fighting the chinese on tariffs and their illegal theft of our intellectual property, he has defeated the "JV" team and has the taliban begging to come to the table, when RBG steps down he will place another Supreme Court seat. Then we can talk about the tax cuts that have generated more revenue for the country while exploding the re-investment companies have made and the savings in taxes all Americans get. How about the bonuses millions received from their companies? Interest rates have stayed relatively low during all of this which is amazing. The stock market continues to go to all time highs with no end in sight.

He is doing all of this without one shred of support from the left who continually try to use liberal courts to thwart Trump rather than use the legislative process because they know they would lose. I would say Trump has been wildly successful.

I would also say you have to be a serious ass hole to not recognize the successes but everyone here knows you are a serious ass hole.

You think that the left cares about American success? When MAGA is considered hate speech there is no doubt that they are rooting for the away team.
