Back before Lyerla's first season at Oregon, and before Kim hit me with a permanent ban (aka badge of honor), I recall some Doog poster saying even though Lyerla's SPARQ rating led the nation he didn't have the body type to be an effective tight end. Too "stiff", or something like that. Right.
A friend of mine lives in Hillsburrito and knows the Lyerla story. I guess his home life couldn't have been much worse. Despite the Grinolds innuendos about his character (which I'm sure have all the credibility of the rest of Kimmie's "inside scoops") I guess he's done a good job of staying focused and out of trouble while at Oregon. Had to ditch his trouble making home boys to do so but got it done. -
