He brought this team back. He made a 7 win season a "WTF IS GOING ON?!?!" instead of the norm.
I think Pete is better suited at a "small" school like Boise St. I'm sure everything wore on him. Gilby made a comment yesterday about how a year as an HC was like dog years. The recruiting battles and everthing else on top of a poor season and the realization that many changes had to be made. I hope he can find the love of coaching again.
I have been watching Husky football for 30 years and Pete made me care about it again. Thank you Chris Petersen
