The Cuogs kill teams that blitz them or play them tight. The dink and dunk before hitting big ones on them. UW has a perfect defense for them. -

I wish we stole some passing game concepts from the Cougs against teams that blitz us. For some reason we still have long developing routes against the blitz. -

5 teams beat UW this year by running on them. WSU could have been 6 with a game plan designed to beat Washington not the air raid -

Watched the last 5-6 minutes of the Civil War. Oregon State had a first down at midfield down 10-17. Babushka went full retard Petersen. Called a long pass play that was incomplete. Called a 10-15 yard pass play that was broken up. Then on third down, he runs the ball up the middle and they get 5 yards. They went for it on 4th down and picked up 4 yards, falling just one yard short of getting a fresh set of downs. Anyway, they squandered opportunities and killed that drive and whatever momentum they had. The offense was getting into a rhythm until they decided to get pass-happy. HRYK. We usually just out athlete them when they try and get their guys in space. The DBs haven’t been the problem. The lack of DL depth and good LBers fucked us early in the year.

Can we? hire someone to run something like this? They ran the ball 52 times in a game they were down by 25. I like running the ball. I like my teams to impose their will. Myles Gaskin and Lavon Coleman hid the fact that this offense is weak and mushy when attempting to impose our? will. It's hard.
