These won’t really do anything. Nobody will care about a mid season tournament compared to the finals.

Same for the play in to be the 7 and 8 seeds. All that does is make a play in game for the chance to get bounced in the first round.

I guess it’s good to change things, but it won’t accomplish anything when it comes to fan interest.

Super teams killed the NBA and drafting unproven rookies on potential, like Most of the one and done players from UW

    Half agree

The NBA has thrived on dynasties. From Day 1

One and done has taken a toll on college and the NBA

Get rid of the draft and let teams sign anyone they want. It works great in futbol. Signing kids as young as 6 and paying for their schooling does wonders for the sport. If you really want a good product you can get rid of the franchise system and allow anyone to start a team and enter in the lowest tier. Losers get relegated and winners move up. Run the corrupt NCAA out of bidness and we can have a competitive system of several leagues. There will be super teams, but that is great if you aren’t a commie traitor fuck.

A NBA GM has a near impossible job. Half these can't miss one and dones aren't good enough for college let alone the NBA but you have to pick them on potential at the time.

Play-in games for the playoffs is pointless, as outlined above that the 7/8 seeds just get plungered anyways. A 25-win team sneaking in to the playoffs is good how?
The league needs to go back to allowing kids to go pro directly from HS, otherwise require a minimum of 2 years in college.
Otherwise, the biggest issue with the NBA regular season is the same problem that MLB has. There are too many games (and the first half of the NBA season overlaps the NFL season). NFL games matter because each one is 6.25% of your season. An NBA game is 1.2%.
An in-season tournament doesn't do anything. The games count as regular season games, so what does the winner of the tournament get? Strip club vouchers for when their team travels to Atlanta?

They overthink it tho. Why would you care about a player’s potential if you are a small market team? If that guy is any good, he’s forcing his way out by his mid 20’s when he goes for his second contract.

You gotta pick the best player. It’s a veteran league tho. Doncic is the first young guy in years that has immediately moved the needle for his franchise. Everyone else takes years. Young guys don’t give a shit about winning when they have that kind of lifestyle.
