Ramon Henderson, 2020 4* DB, Bakersfield (Liberty), CA (Offered)

Hes offers from ND, Oklahomo, and some other big schools. Hopefully this doesnt mean someone on our current commit list is looking elsewhere (unless it's that CB that rides the bench for his high school team)

Is he a 2020 guy?

Last I heard, that CB starts and has been playing really well for his school.bananasnblondes said:Ramon Henderson from Liberty Bakersfield. 4* #11 athlete by 247

Seems like an extreme longshot with the kid committing in a month. Guessing it's more a way to leverage Jacobe C.bananasnblondes said:Ramon Henderson from Liberty Bakersfield. 4* #11 athlete by 247

Another thought. His crystal dongs are 100% ND and we know how Jimmy likes to fuck with those guys
-
There's a good chance he doesn't have commitable offers from those schools, it may just be us against Utahwhuggy said:

Apparently he ran a 10.59 100m, which is good

@sonics1993 anything to read into this RE Jacobe Covington?

I can think of at least 3 current dbs that could be on couch sale watch this off season
-
Cook, Gilchrist, Irvin, McKinney... I would hope Irvin wouldn't quit so soon with his injury issues, but the writing could be on the wall with so many freshman in the rotation for playing time.bananasnblondes said:I can think of at least 3 current dbs that could be on couch sale watch this off season

I’m kind of surprised Gilchrist never really got a shot. He did great at the Spring Event and I would see him mentioned in practice reports. I can’t recall ever seeing him play except on garbage time. By no means do I think he’s a missing link, but it’s still somewhat surprising.Emoterman said:

Why the hell would irvin be on it? He was right there as a true fresh, got hurt, and sat out a season. Hes good and isn't going anywhere.Emoterman said:

Cook just switched positions. Safety is still pretty thin. I'm sure he sees an opportunity. The only way hes leaving is if he wants to move back to receiver.
The other two guys...well sure. Including Cook and especially irvin on couch sale watch lists makes no sense at all. -

I wouldn’t count it out. He’s been healthy for awhile and still isn’t playing at all. He didn’t come to UW to stand on the sidelines and cheer.chuck said:

I was just trying to guess who @bananasnblondes was thinking was portal-curious, but the reason I included Irvin is because in a sense the writing could be on the wall for him. He's behind guys who are younger than him on the depth chart and in playing time, and sure, we and he can hope that he's a special player that will overcome that deficit, but with the modern transfer portal era, maybe he and his NFL veteran father decide he should get a fresh start somewhere else.chuck said:

I’ve missed them. I saw Cam Williams playing again against the Beavs. I missed Irvin. I don’t want him to go, but I really think not playing has to irk him and his dad.GrundleStiltzkin said:

According to GoHuskies, USC was the first game he played in. Also played against Stanford and Oregon State.FirePete said:

Irvin was at corner last year. The path forward for him, due to the way the depth chart is set up, is at safety. Between playing more corner previously and being hurt, he's bound to have to ease his way back in. -
@sonics1993 how bad did I miss with this list of portal curious DBs?Emoterman said:

Ehh, we’ll see. Turner isn’t going anywhere and I think the coaches still really like Williams. I don’t see him playing much next year either.chuck said:
