The U.S. deficit hit $984 billion in 2019, soaring during Trump era Spending increases, tax cuts, and political apathy fueled surge, and interest payments now near $400 billion
The country’s worsening fiscal picture runs in sharp contrast to President Trump’s campaign promise to eliminate the federal debt within eight years.
Promises made, promises kept. Oh wait...

Will we all save $2500 a year.2001400ex said:
Race likes to ignore the cost savings and additional revenues in lieu of insurance and out of pocket.RaceBannon said:We should cut spending by adding 50 trillion dollars of new spending
Obama only nearly doubled the debt (trigger) lets triple it
I’m sure when when the government takes it over the cost savings will flow.

Too many people that don't belong. Social security is for a lot more than retirement and it's being abused. Old Octomom pulled in 2,200.00 per kid per month from SS. Claimed they had some type of disability. There's all kinds of abuse/fraud in all government programs. Many billions per year.2001400ex said:

When was Trump ever anything remotely resembling a fiscal conservative? He ran on cutting taxes and spending on infrastructure.
Wake me up when the demand for US debt and currency doesn't far exceed the supply. -
If I understand the Hondobros correctly we have a deficit problem so we need to raise taxes and spend an additional 50 trillion. Seems like a winning formula.

Trump was a fiscal conservative until January 17. And Trump sold that the tax cuts would increase revenue enough to pay for the infrastructure.UW_Doog_Bot said:When was Trump ever anything remotely resembling a fiscal conservative? He ran on cutting taxes and spending on infrastructure.

Promises made, promises kept. Oh wait...
