Can we send Lorenzo Romar to the Dana Altman coaching clinic this summer?

...oh wait. He coaches at Oregon so he must be CHEATING.
I keep forgetting that Romar is a good man and father figure and helps his players prepare for life after basketball. I'll take that over wins any day.

Altman is a stud. His career two sweet 16's( if he wins today ) in 25 years of coaching proves it.

Altman sucks balls. He's no better than Romar.
Aim higher. -
Altman is Tedford is Romar.

Altman doesn't suck balls. Craig Robinson sucks balls. But the Huskies should aim higher.dnc said:Altman sucks balls. He's no better than Romar.

Anyone see the wh0regon thug throw the Wisconsin player to the ground with 0.5 seconds left, down by 5?
I hear Altman is a great coach. -
Altman's team closed that game just like a Romar team.

This would be a good time to quote PL_SS posting on romar not calling timeouts, Altman not calling a to cost them the game during thet stretch where Wisconsin went on a 13-0 run or whatever

Well I blew my anti-Romar was a little prematurely there. Oregon lost and once again it's a great day to be a doog

Apparently winning a Super Bowl is relevant when it comes to college basketball flamewars.

Why would we send Romar to Altman's clinic? He already knows how to lose.

I thought the topic was a whoosh (even if Altman won that game you cant be fucking serious).

Romar thinks Bible Study > Film

I don't think Romar's problem is that he doesn't work hard enough. I think his problem is his philosophies are inherently flawed, especially when he inexplicably went away from the style of play and type of athletes that he had some success with. What he's trying to do now with the high poast is just a bad match for his players, his skills and his brand.
Watching more film isn't going to fix any of that. -

Snoop has reached Harvey Road territory in this thread.

Romar doesn't strike me as a grinder. I'm sure he works fairly hard, but I'm not sure if losing eats at him and makes him work harder.dnc said:

I'm just saying working harder poorly isn't going to change the fact you're working poorly.
