Yep, they all know each other and have most likely been competing against each other since at least 8th grade some probably even earlier than that. You've got high school and college and in some cases even neighborhood rivalries going on in that game. -

I loved it. Oregon used to get punked now it's the opposite. Making plays and talking shit. This kind of Oregon, I can get behind. They go into the Coliseum, talk shit, and back it up in blow out fashion, with most local recruits watching on site or on TV. Oregon just parked a branch football recruiting office in downtown Los Angeles.
