Quick Thoughts

This is a flawed team that gets absolutely no help from the coaching. Pete gets a F for game day coaching this year.
All turnovers are bad, but Eason’s absolutely killed us. A pick in the red zone throwing into triple coverage to Otton. That cost us at least 3 points. Then a pick 6. He also fumbled in the first half. Defense held them to 3. Really bad day by him and he deserves to be bashed for it. He lost the game for us, although the coaching didn’t help. Don’t defend him with yeah, but... Nobody ever did that for Browning here.

Haha, I still want him to come back. I think he’s a pretty good QB. You can win with and at times he’s very good. That said, he lost the game pretty much singlehandedly today.gabemarksknee said:

There is always so much wrong with the team I don’t think singlehandedly really works.RoadDawg55 said:

The ILBs are the absolute worst I’ve ever seen.
Bacellia and fuller are horrible and should both be benched for the rest of the year
OTs getting beat outside in part because Easons drops are so deep
one 70% healthy RB left on the roster that can’t break tackles
The secondary is disappointing outside of byrant and Mcduffie
Throw in horrible play calling on both sides of the ball AND the clock management
It’s honestly a miracle UW isn’t getting blown out in these games when Eason turns the ball over so many times
Going to be TUFF to even reach house money at this rate. The seniors have obviously given up on the year and Pete is too stubborn to play the younger guys or even just chin. -
My quick thoughts...
Overcooked the burgers. Had some friends over and didn’t bother to watch much. Figured we’d find a way to lose.
Was sad to find out I was correct. -
Is it his fault that we don't have any healthy RB's coming off a bye? I don't care who you are, chaos will happen if you throw 50+ times.RoadDawg55 said:

There were catches but still can't find a guy to catch an easy ball when we need it. Still don't have big dick QB play. LB's were what we expected. 2 critical turnovers on us, didn't do shit when we got their TO's. Classic heavyweight bout when one didn't show. Again.

Pre game texting iDawg said we'll play just good enough to lose. I was still thinking blowout but this team still doesn't get blown out
That's probably coming next
This is probably a down year and we bounce back next year but it still seems like wasted chance
A great coach goes 10-2 with this roster -
Giving up on running the ball is THE FUCKING CANCER. Consistency

Watching Petersen on the sideline is like watching a drowning victim who refuses to flap his arms

This season blowing up is probably a good thing...there are some structural issues in the program (OC, LB coaching, and even DC) and going 10-3 probably won’t fix them. Going 7-6 at least has a chance to.
-
Dude gets fired before he changes, it aint in him. He's fervent in his system and we've seen max capacity. It'll be a fun team every 5 or 6 years which isn't fucking fun at all.HoustonHusky said:This season blowing up is probably a good thing...there are some structural issues in the program (OC, LB coaching, and even DC) and going 10-3 probably won’t fix them. He won’t change and he won’t make the necessary adjustments to his staff.
Pete’s been exposed this year. He’s an average coach, who even when he wins, plays the most miserable, unwatchable brand of football around.
Program’s over. Thank allah for basketball season. -
an interesting season to say the least. Petersen said he'd fix the offense after the Rose Bowel and yet somehow he seems to have undone the lugnuts on all the wheels and now we have gaping holes all over the place. What the fuck did this self declared master of detail actually do for 8 fucking months? This year has become a fucking embarassment.

Even with the turnovers, the offense didn't lose the game. We should never give up 26 points to fucking Utah. Both them and Oregon ran over us when they wanted to especially in the second half.Meek said:an interesting season to say the least. Petersen needs to go to the Pete Carroll school of in game adjustments. How we continually start strong then just lay over on defense this year just astounds me. -
West Virginia had a season in like 1990 or so when they played Norte Dame a Bowl game that essentially decided the national title.
Senior laden class for WVU and the following season went like 4-7. I realized then the WVU coach was good once every 4-5 years when he had a good recruiting class he could develop over time. That’s where we are now. -

Do you expect to make the playoffs every 2 years? My expectations are for Oregon to make the playoffs once every 4 to 5 years. If the fuskies do that every 5 to 6 years, you should be grateful and give Peterman extensions.minion_doog said:

This team is the biggest underachieving pussies since probably the '97 team. They had a lot of talent and gave up, but at least were a top ten team for a while. It very well could be worse though. 6-6 seems like a real possibility right now. 7-5 is probably about right. With those teams, there was talent but not much depth due to sanctions. Pete had his time to fill out the roster. Very good programs just reload and most of their fans don't act like Doog fags and make the youth excuse. I definitely haven't been this disgusted since the '08 team. Even those Sark teams showed some heart, even if they had big shortcomings. This is coaching, but it's also internal. There aren't good leaders. That's pretty obvious.
The wide receivers are atrocious, pass rush usually sucks, secondary gives up too much etc. This team has been regressing for three years. That's the disturbing part. -
Everything astounds you.2001400ex said:
