    The SEC won 3 total natties from 1980- 2000. The sport was far better in this era than what we have now. It's boring as fuck to have the same 3 teams make the CFP every year and no one else matters.

    Playoffs are for championship caliber teams. The 4 team playoff does a pretty good job of weeding out the pretenders.

    You break all teams into tier 1 tier 2 and tier 3. How do you figure which team is in which tier? I don’t know use Sagarin ratings for like the last four years and average it out or something.

    You play a home and home with a team from each Tier. You don’t get to pick your opponent. It’s a blind draw. Yes that means Alabama might have to go to Rice or something. Redo rankings every two years and do it again,

    5 conference champions are in....3 At Large. Weird I know because it makes perfect sense

    Because everyone wants to see Alabama play a shit tier team in the playoffs...

    There are 4 open spots. Be a better conference if you want your conference represented on the big stage.
