Ed Orgeron

Ed was blistered by everyone for his three years at Ole Miss. He came as the savior from USC that would bring back 1959 to Rebelville. He went 10-25

He appeared to be headed back to the career assistant that he should be.

Did a brief stint at USC after the tarmac firing of Lane and put together the best record of the post Pete era there. But his rep at Ole Miss made St Haden look north to Seattle for Sark

LSU seems like the perfect place for the hard to understand ragin Cajun. He is at home. He has improved each year to the point now where LSU is a legit threat to BAMA. Completely overhauled the offense and now has a functioning big play offense.

But he has to beat Bama. This year. Needs to close it out and make the playoffs. They will grow tired of him if he doesn't. But it is further evidence of how random coaching can be at the level below God Like Status

For a change the Bama LSU game should be exciting. Not 7-3. Hey our season is over

Ed saw his weakness was his offense and he changed it.

It's amazing what a new OC and going from shit QBs to a first round pick can do.

Ed's still Ed but he might get his Les Miles memorial trophy this year.

Good for him. He's a moron but a lovable one.

I'd say the OC more than the QB

    He's loveable until he isn't

Vast improvement on offense, doesn't seem they have the defense yet to stop a team like Alabama with Tagovailoa at full strength.

    Couple observations about this:

Ed has the very best voice for a football coach in the history of the sport.

"I have my hummer, you need a hummer, Jo Jo tell em about it" - mik drop

Orgeron doing his tiger walk vs. Bama 3 hours before kick had more LSU fans lining the streets as we have in the seats 7 minutes before kick

This should be known as Pete Carroll-syndrome: be bad coach, get fired, go to USC, become god.

Great win, but like Meat, this is the first year he's won a division, let alone a conference.

And they're both jumping around and slobbering all over the place and yelling about how much they own their rival.

Not going to concede anything until they show it consistently over multiple seasons.

In 2016, when multiple white trash Oregon grads who just do sales came raging at me in PDX bars, they would say, "You had one good year. Need to do it consistently."

    And they're right.

Shows how out of touch you are that you think it didn't.

The sick burns were of the variety of "You going to the Peach bowl? Probably not."

"I was at that game (70) and you guys look like a 8-9 win team that just ran up the score because of what we did for over a decade."

"Pete wanted to come here but we didn't want him so he ran it up "

You can't get this kind of insight in North Texas.

So in a Portland pub in 2016 where UW is all the sudden top 6 and Oregon is an embarrassment and a late 20's guy is decked in UW clothing, no one is going to say something? Seems logical.

Has nothing to do with this, but LaMike on Twitter was talking about recruiting. I swear we could win the Natty and Coker, DDY, and him would be pumped about what winning a natty will do for recruiting. It’s absurd.

There are salesmen that are serious and learn their domain and make money for their company and then there are salesmen that went to Oregon. Sounds like you need to learn the difference.
