Jonathan Smith

Beating fucking Notre Dame and winning an NY6 game wasnt a fluke. UW will probably never do either of those things.
Classic HH kiss of death. Losing to Boov will be special.

TBH how the fuck do you not win

They would be behind Fuller, Opera, and Chin in our offenseNeGgaPlEaSe said:TBH how the fuck do you not win

Why mention chin? Third on the WR depth chart might as well be a freshman walkon.PostGameOrangeSlices said:

Only reason Bynum got a catch was because Eason checked out of a run play.

No Steven Jackson, it was Ken Simonton.NeGgaPlEaSe said:TBH how the fuck do you not win

RUSHING
Oregon State -- Simonton 18-85, Battle 8-32, McCall 10-25, Stremick 1-(-2), Smith 2-(-13).
PASSING
Oregon State -- Smith 16-24-0-305, Stremick 1-1-0-14.
RECEIVING
Oregon State -- Houshmandzadeh 6-74, Johnson 4-93, Maurer 3-82, Prescott 2-41, McCall 1-15, Moala 1-14.
The Beaver D was flat out nasty that year. And Dennis Erickson, 'nuff said.
Notre Dame sucked.
Beavs had 18 penalties for 174 yards. The pat down was considered "Unsportsmanlike Conduct."

Ehh, they were still good. Houshmanzaadeh was a 7th round pick. Good college player, but wasn’t considered a star. Chad Johnson only played one year out of JC. He was more talented from what the got. He only caught 30 something passes. Steven Jackson wasn’t on the 2000 team. He came the next year.NeGgaPlEaSe said:TBH how the fuck do you not win

He’s done more than any UW receiver in the NFL and to date more than first round RossRoadDawg55 said:

Tied NFL lead most receptions in a season (112) in 2007. -
Jackson was a freshman on the 2000 team. He spelled Simonton and I thought he looked better against us. We couldn't stop himRoadDawg55 said:

Smith was and is a shitbag. I'm glad he's gone. Unfortunately, UW stupidly replaced him with another BSU replica off the Peterson assembly line.

I sincerely hope that era never comes back in style. But I know it will and I'll have to live through this shit all over again. -
Jackson was a freshman in 2001. Patrick McCall was the back up in 2000 and he was good too.RaceBannon said:

In 2001 Simonton and Jackson played, Jackson didn’t reach 400 yards and Simonton didn’t reach 1000.
2002 Jackson exploded 1600 yards -

In Jackson’s last season, he didn’t look that good. All the Beavs run plays were long developing runs that didn’t take advantage of Jackson’s size. A guy like Jackson doesn’t need to sit back and wait for hikes to develop and be patient. RB’s like him should be getting mostly quick hitting runs up the middle and off tackle.
