Beating fucking Notre Dame and winning an NY6 game wasnt a fluke. UW will probably never do either of those things.

    Ehh, they were still good. Houshmanzaadeh was a 7th round pick. Good college player, but wasn’t considered a star. Chad Johnson only played one year out of JC. He was more talented from what the got. He only caught 30 something passes. Steven Jackson wasn’t on the 2000 team. He came the next year.

    He’s done more than any UW receiver in the NFL and to date more than first round Ross

    In 2000 Simonton was a 1550 yards on season and 5.5 yards per carry
    In 2001 Simonton and Jackson played, Jackson didn’t reach 400 yards and Simonton didn’t reach 1000.
    2002 Jackson exploded 1600 yards

    In Jackson’s last season, he didn’t look that good. All the Beavs run plays were long developing runs that didn’t take advantage of Jackson’s size. A guy like Jackson doesn’t need to sit back and wait for hikes to develop and be patient. RB’s like him should be getting mostly quick hitting runs up the middle and off tackle.
