Quite honestly (and this goes to my da fuq post on tax rates), Trump is on the right track relative to scaling back US military involvement

Somehow we’ve swallowed like cheap hookers this bullshit that we? are somehow the world’s policeman. And because we? think that apparently puts us? in the Marvel Comics Universe, we lap that shit up.

Instead, our infrastructure at home is crumbling, we’ve got homeless coming out of our ears in damned near every major city in the country and we’re draining the treasury.

This is fuckingly stupid. The Turks and Kurds and Syrians and Iraqis and Persians and Saudis have been killing one another for generations. The only time they didn’t was when a superpower went in and kicked ass and took over. That’s it. We had that option in Desert Storm and that’s about it. Since then we’ve dicked around. So if we’re not in it to win it and take the riches, get the fuck out.

Trump is just a shit communicator to that end.
