Shaw should have taken the Rams job when he had the chance

Blade Runner 1 for sure, great movie, absolutely sci-fi to a T. I've tried getting through BR2 three times, haven't finished year. Annihilation fits the genre. Not sure I got the movie though. I need to watch again.PostGameOrangeSlices said:

Call me getting baked and watching scifi movies superiority guy
The Thing, very good, haven't seen in years. That, Predator, Alien, Edge of Tomorrow, etc. might belong in their own category of "alien" movies. I think Aliens almost belongs in Military.
I see Starship Troopers primarily as satire, secondary as sci-fi or "alien." I should have had Robo Cop on my list.
Gotta be honest, I thought Event Horizon sucked. Felt like space ship Hellraiser or something.
Haven't seen Pandorum or Ender's Game. -
Im surprised you cant make it through BR2. Amazing movie. The scene where Gosling is getting quizzed by the robot to see if he is experiencing emotions is the coolest, trippiest scene of all time. In IMAX it was anxiety inducing. Coulda been the edibles.GrundleStiltzkin said:

Starship Troopers is satire but still nails the space fascist vibe. Event Horizon freaks me out and it totally is Hell Raiser in space. That tape is gnarly.
Pandorum is I think the most underrated movie of all time. It's not perfect but the twist at the end is mind blowing. Definitely check it out
