Many are jealous of my ability to work from home, shit post, drive around, and run millions of dollars of business in my spare time thanks to massive corporate spending.

And I get to keep more of what we make

But Lizzie is going to show me how none of that is actually true and how jacking taxes and energy prices is really the path to prosperity while expanding the govenrment into even more of our lives until they run every last aspect of it because climate change

Sounds like a winner to me

Lives in Temecula, thinks people are jealous

That take is so rich, Liz will want to tax it
I'm internet middle class guy that faced the abyss a few short years ago

    Now I'm back.

You concern for the middle and lower classes is noted though

I'd focus on this too since there is no argument against my accurate portrayal of her polices

Maybe if my wife makes some more money we can look down our noses too. And I can gossip at the gym
    It's good to have goals

Liz still wants to help you, even if you don't belive her
    Like I said

    Bullshit

Liz wants power to the government and more of my money and to fuck up energy

She has as much interest in helping me as you do
Your money. Like you make enough for her to target you.

I get being a disillusioned Democrat. Their shift to the right over the last 40 years has disappoonted a lot of us. But now that being progressive and actually wanting to help people is in vogue again, I don't get caping for a narcissistic morally bankrupt "billionaire" grifter who unabashedly doesn't give a shit about anybody but himself and anything but his own fucking wallet. I can see saying "it's about fucking time" but not "fuck you all," like you're doing.
How much over your actual taxes do you send the government? If you don't then please shut the hell up. You don't want to help anyone. You want everyone else to do it so you can feel better.

    POTD!

Always have to laugh at those who blather that you have to have a zero carbon footprint in order to talk about climate change or give away all your money before you can talk about raising taxes for social programs. Something something Al Gore flies in jets something something AOC staff drive cars yada yada HYPOCRITZ!!! FWIW I do cuntribute locally, thanks, but the only way to get meaningful change/improvement is through legislation that gets those who have benefited the most from the system to pay back into it.

Also have to laugh at anybody on this bored who thinks Warren is after their money. Nobody here is rich enough except for HI HARV!
This morning, I happened to be listening to a podcast with Tom Sowell reviewing his book "The Vulgar Pride of Intellectuals". I thought of you the whole tim.

On what basis would you suppose to know how much money a bunch of strangers have accumulated? That this bored serves a fanbase centered around a program in one of the wealthiest cities in the country makes that assumption even more foolhardy.

I think it's very safe for me to assume my tax burden would increase after 4 or 8 years of Warren. Talk me out of it.

    Obsession is unhealthy

Congrates if you're wealthy enough to be in Warren's crosshairs. Odds are you aren't, but heey, anything is possible

I fully expect my taxes to increase. I also expect that tax increase to be offset by cost decreases in things like health care provision and education costs. But yeah, cry about taxes some more because it's a convenient bogeyman for people who can't think past themselves
Heath care costs go down? Never! They'll add every illegal in the nation and their families. With open borders you'll see nothing but increases.

Private company takes care of employees voluntarily

Means we need Lizzie to mandate it

Your insurance keeps going up as often as government idiots keep fixing it

    Hope this helps

    Not in the least

I understnad that you're preference is to yell at clouds, but I prefer to make better rules

Rules determine behavior and influence outcomes

If you want better outcomes, make better rules
I worked for a great family business in Seattle for years. I own a third of a great family business now. No one had to force us to do anything

Obamacare made it much harder and more expensive.

Poor people have never been denied care.

Now middle class folks are getting fucked

Storytime...its funny how most profit-sharing systems for small businesses are set up so that they avoid having to pay payroll taxes on those distributions to their employees (i.e. SS and Medicare). And hey, if you are doing it as dividends you get to duck income tax rates as well...

More power to you, but don't explain in the same breath how the rest of us need to pay more taxes.

Sure. That’s why you give bonuses and not profit share like you said you really do.

Isn't she also calling for the repeal of the Trump tax cuts and a carbon tax as well as her wealth tax while she refuses to admit that her healthcare plan would raise taxes on everyone, including the middle class and only exclude taxing the poor?

To believe that Warren is only going to soak the rich is pretty fucking naive. Oh yeah, she also has promised to ban fracking which means higher fuel prices and that before she enacts her carbon tax.

This. The naivety required to believe that raising rates on billionaires is going to generate enough money to pay for 5 trillion over 10 years in new taxes that will be required to implement her plans (which does not even include pieces of the Green New Deal) is either willful ignorance or complete idiotic bliss.

I have no idea if these figures are accurate or not. But I found them, so I'm using them. Even if they are off it is still a STAGGERING sum of money to pay for all of her bullshit. Yeah, taxing the top 1/10th of 1 percent is going to cover it. LOL. Naive in the extreme. Historically Dems like attacking taxes at around the 250K per year mark. That's me. I would bet it's also a solid chunk of this bored. If Warren is elected I would bet my Rolex collection she targets "Upper Middle Class" fucks like me quick fast and in a hurry.

Throw in increased energy costs and it's a recipe to get me and millions of others to stop spending. That's great for the economy I hear. This shit is so simple to deduce. Yet Dems spend so much energy trying to do tortured mental gymnastics to convince us all that based on some nebulous bullshit that exists only in fantasy land this will somehow be better for me. Or something. Only true believers or genuine morons could possibly believe it.

Yeah no. While 250k isn't a big number. That's not a big chunk of this board.
