I will say, the players are painting a picture of shooting patron and saying "fuck it" in regards to our former "leader"...

I mean jesus Christ did the coaches have beer on tap at practice? Its one thing to throw them under the bus, but they are continuing to back up over the top of them.

Kids being held accountable, attention paid to details, assistant coaches who know their shit AND can recruit...it's like we have a real adult in charge again.

The players have spoken of the difference between Dude Brah's staff in 2013 and Peetamus staff in 2014.

    New coaching staff, new attitude.

The newbies will be inexperienced but they'll bring something we haven't had in a long time which is speed.

This sounds like a bullet point in a revised "5 Reasons"

Let's not get too far ahead of it with premature hype. Coach Pete and his staff have held some meetings and one practice, whereas Sark was on the job in place to impress or influence the kids for five years. Perhaps the three sevens and an eight were the best Sark's sloppiness could do with good talent.

Still, if so many of the players can see such positive differences in the program after just one practice with the new staff, what could the perception of Husky Football under Sark have been in the past. Especially with local recruits, their HS coaches and parents who typically know a lot more than we can about what's happening at Montlake?

Everything we're hearing so far points to the lack of discipline and attention to detail (on offense) which we could clearly see gamedays on the field. Procedural penalties, dropped passes, receivers not getting open, one-Mississippi sacks, etc all make sense now if not before.

Cyler, String, Callier and Timu certainly can see the difference between the two staffs

This is why I've never worried too much about the "buy in" from players ...

Most of the players know that we should have been better than what we were ... those guys will have no problem buying in at this point.

The ones that do? They aren't interested in winning and getting better. WDWTA
